A Cold Month in Florida Has Passed

A cold month in Florida has passed...below normal temps for more than half the days! But it's been looking up for the past few days and we are happy about that....

Just confirmed THE TONDER FOLK FESTIVAL, in Denmark for the weekend before the Blues In Hell Festival, in Norway! Now things are really looking good for the overseas trip. Last time I was at the TFF, was about 13 years ago with my trio, The Hillbilly Blues Cats! Looks like we will get to spend a few days in Copenhagen between the gigs and we are excited.

Been doing some "Spring Training" gigs down here in Florida and really enjoying being back on the stage. Mostly playing my SS Stewart Guitar, it's still my favorite. It just suits my style more than any that I have played for years.

The cross country tour is taking shape as well, and I am really looking forward to the tour. I love crossing the Prairies, Deserts, and Mountains on the way to the Pacific Ocean. It's a blessing when a touring musician enjoys the long drives. I am indeed a lucky man!

My Pal, Paul Geremia is on tour down here in Florida and it was great to see and hear him play at Skipper's Smokehouse in Tampa the other night. He is so good and he is still an inspiration to me. Catch him if you can! He has a few more shows down here and we are hoping that he comes to visit for a few days next week, before starting North.

That's all folks....untill next time...
