Hard to believe I am in NC and headed towards Florida for the Winter. Had a successful NE tour. Playing the Caffe Lena, in Saratoga Springs NY is always a treat. I miss Lena, who used to play scrabble with me till the sun came up after the show, but her spirit lives on...The Cafe is going strong run by a foundation with many volunteers and a few staff members.

My Wednesday gig in Hinesburg, VT was sold out and I got the call to come in a day early for another show. How cool is that? Always enjoy hanging at The Goodtimes Cafe. Chris, Tracy and little Levon are something special.

Picked up Nancy in Providence at the airport and we headed to Shirley Mass. for a gig at Bull Run with Paul Geremia. Great to have Nancy aboard...

Paul was doing fine and played an amazing set. Fun was had by all. After the gig, we headed to our favorite Winter camping spot in Foxboro, Mass.. Having an indoor pool and hot tub is really a treat in late November!

Thanksgiving with the Family was fun. My Mom is doing well in her new digs and has lots of new friends. We are so happy for her. Actually had to plan way ahead for her to make time for us!

My annual Thanksgiving Friday gig at the Turning Point was a huge success. Brother Mike brought about a dozen people with him including Mom, The Nephew and his Wife and a bunch of his gang who over the years have become fans. The place was packed and we had a fantastic time. Slept over in the parking lot and then headed South to Bethleham for the next show. My regular Saturday TG gig at Godfrey Daniels was also cool, with lots of old friends and fans. The Indian restaurant next door is always an added bonus.

Nancy flew home from Philly and I started South. A stop in DC at XM Radio was on the schedule and I enjoyed meeting Bill Wax from the BLUESVILLE channel. I recorded 5 or 6 originals and set up a date in the Spring for an interview and a chance to spin some discs on the air. XM is quite an organization. I think I am getting a subscription for Christmas!!

Met with my old pal Trish Byerly for Lunch. It seems like yesterday that John Jackson introduced me to his new friend and 'manager. John Jackson sure gave us all a lot more than music...

Now camped out in Smithfield NC, just hanging out until my last gig of the year in Raliegh, (a house concert that sold out in 12 hours!)......Then it's homeward bound....

Bye For Now
